Chris Bauer

Chris Bauer, the son of a United States Army Pilot Veteran, is proud to call Louisville, KY home and is married to his wife, who’s originally from Elizabethtown. They’re raising their son, an avid competitive swimmer, and you’ll often find them cheering on college sports and staying involved through service to others. Chris graduated from the University of Louisville with his undergraduate degree and his first master’s degree, then later earned two additional master’s degrees from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. In 2020, Chris retired from the education field after more than 27 years of experience in a wide range of leadership and student-centered roles. He served as the Assistant Superintendent for Hardin County Schools when he retired, and his career also included time as a teacher, head coach, athletic director, assistant principal, principal, and director of human resources. That background shaped the way he approaches conversations today: with a true passion for families and a “family first and family matters” mindset that guides how he and his team show up for people every day. They work hard to be honest, compassionate, and understanding of each family’s and individual’s needs.
